White House Rental

Originally built over 150 years ago, the White House is the Community Center of Dutchland Woods.  In 1980, it was renovated by members of the Dutchland Woods community and now serves as a total recreational facility.  It is situated on 12 acres of wooded picnic grounds, bordering a 4 acre pond (Janie Lake).

The White House features a semi-formal living room; a central party room with tables and chairs; a dance floor, outdoor patio with picnic area; on the second the DWPOA office, copier room and large storage attic and closets.

The White House is available for rental by association members and non-members for private functions.  These facilities are also used by the community for neighborhood-wide functions and events.

Rental Fees
(For non-members of DWPOA)

Security deposit is refundable provided all specifications in contract are met and there is no damage to property. (Consecutive Night Rentals – only 1 Security Deposit is required) There is a clean-up fee for each event.  If you choose to clean the White House yourself and it is cleaned to the specifications in your contract, then the deposit fee minus any other applicable charges will be returned will be returned in its entirety.

All deposits (rental fee plus security deposit) are due 30 days prior to event with signed contract to confirm your date.  Cancellations less than 30 days will forfeit deposit.

Please note that if you move furniture, set up additional tables and chairs, or re-arrange the facilities, you are responsible for returning the facility to its original setup or a fee of $25 will be charged.  All trash, food and decorations must be removed at the end of your event, whether you clean or the Association cleans – this is for health purposes.

You may bring your own liquor and food or have your event catered.  The White House kitchen includes stove, refrigerator, microwave and freezer.
